Description :
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Engineer to join our Production team, specializing in Heat Treatment processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of metallurgical principles and hands-on experience in operating and maintaining heat treatment equipment.
  • This role involves leading and supporting production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and optimizing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • The Assistant Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing improvements to enhance overall production performance.
Responsibilities :
  • Oversee daily operations of heat treatment processes, including furnace loading, temperature control, and post-heat treatment inspections
  • Implement and monitor heat treatment procedures, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs with external service providers
  • Analyze process data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and quality
  • Supervise and train production team members on safe operating procedures and best practices
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality Control, Engineering) to ensure seamless production flow
  • Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on performance metrics
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new heat treatment technologies and processes
Technical Skills :
  • Heat Treatment Processes - Extensive knowledge of various heat treatment methods (e.g., annealing, hardening, tempering, carburizing) and their applications in different materials
  • Metallurgical Principles - Solid understanding of metallurgical concepts such as phase transformations, microstructure analysis, and material properties
  • Heat Treatment Equipment - Experience in operating and maintaining various heat treatment equipment (e.g., furnaces, quenching systems, tempering ovens)
  • Quality Control - Ability to implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Problem-Solving - Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
