Description :
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations in the Automotive Steel Components, Fine Blanking, and Precision Machining department, ensuring efficient and high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturing feasibility and optimize processes for component production.
  • Implement and monitor production schedules, maintain production records, and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Responsibilities :
  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and production targets.
  • Monitor production processes, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and operational issues to maintain optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications, conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage production resources, including equipment, tooling, and raw materials, optimizing utilization and minimizing waste.
  • Train and supervise production team members, ensuring proper operation of machinery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering team on process improvements, tooling modifications, and new product introduction.
  • Analyze production data, identifying trends and areas for optimization to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain detailed production records and generate reports on performance, yields, and quality metrics.
  • Implement and maintain a safe working environment, enforcing safety procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor equipment performance and conduct preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
  • Collaborate with procurement team on material sourcing and inventory management to ensure timely supply of raw materials.
  • Work closely with quality assurance department to address any non-conforming parts and ensure adherence to customer specifications.
  • Analyze and interpret production data, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve production efficiency, minimize waste, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in automotive manufacturing.
Technical Skills :
  • CAD/CAM Systems - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for creating and modifying product designs, generating manufacturing instructions, and simulating production processes.
  • CNC Machining - Expertise in CNC machining operations, including setup, programming, and operation of CNC milling and turning machines for precision component fabrication.
  • Fine Blanking Process - Understanding of fine blanking technology, including tooling, material handling, and process optimization for producing high-precision, burr-free components.
  • Metrology and Inspection - Ability to use measuring instruments and inspection techniques to verify component dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish to ensure quality standards.
  • Lean Manufacturing Principles - Knowledge and application of Lean manufacturing principles, including value stream mapping, waste reduction, and continuous improvement, to optimize production efficiency.
  • ISO/TS 16949 Standards - In-depth knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 standards for quality management systems in the automotive industry, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving - Ability to diagnose and resolve production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Production Planning and Scheduling - Expertise in planning and scheduling production activities, considering resource availability, production lead times, and customer deadlines.
  • Material Handling and Inventory Management - Knowledge of material handling principles and inventory management techniques to ensure efficient flow of materials through the production process.
